High Dynamic Range slide show (76) A relatively new addition to the stable of tools available to photographers is termed HDR for High Dynamic Range photography. This is a process whereby several different exposures for shadow detail, mid-tones, and highlights are recorded individually, and then blended together using software that combines the appropriate portions of each exposure. The images in this category were taken at the XXX Root Beer Drive-In restaurant and an old Shell gas station and feed store in Issaquah, WA. With HDR tools you can create images that look like photographs, drawings, and anything in-between. All of these images are of the drawing type.
